As one of the 50 state capitals, we pride ourselves on being rich in history and heritage. As a Midwestern town, we also pride ourselves as being a leader in the hospitality industry and welcome all groups with open arms. Topeka offers attractions and entertainment for all types and any size group.
Whether you have a conference for 3000 or a weekend with the family, we can deliver.

With over 100,000 square feet of convention space, the Kansas Expocentre is Topeka’s largest event venue.  With three major convention hotels including the Capitol Plaza, Ramada Hotel and Convention Center and Holiday Inn Holidome, Topeka has affordable meeting space for every budget.

The Capitol Plaza Hotel The Capitol Plaza Hotel, a John Q Hammons property, is adjacent to the Kansas Expocentre and offers 26,000 square feet of meeting space. Combining first-class accommodations with courteous service the Capitol Plaza perfectly blends quality environment with down-home hospitality.
Ramada Hotel and Convention Center The Ramada Hotel and Convention Center is located in the heart of Topeka just steps away from the Capital City's downtown landmarks. The Ramada has over 30,000 square feet of meeting space and full service dining.
The Holiday Inn Holidome The Holiday Inn Holidome is a family friendly meeting space famous for its running water - the indoor pool with three story water slide. The Holidome is close to Hummer Sports Park, the Kansas Museum of History and major shopping and dining.
Kansas Expocentre Kansas Expocentre is a convention and events facility with bold architectural strength and over 210,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space. Landon arena seats 7000+ with a state of the art sound system, while exhibition hall can accommodate 250 column free exhibit spaces.

The four attractions listed below were identified as “Must-Sees” by Randall Travel Marketing, Inc.
