Account Executive
Job Description
Since 2001, EproDirect has been helping hotels and other hospitality businesses save time, save money, increase sales, and allow their sales teams to be more productive by taking on a wide-variety of sales & marketing tasks and projects, both simple and complex, to allow sales teams more time to sell. In addition, we help hotels, destinations, and other meeting suppliers grow their group market segment by connecting them directly to our community of over 80,000 qualified meeting planner subscribers.
What we’re looking for
EproDirect is currently searching to fill the role of an Account Executive whose responsibilities will included selling EproDirect’s wide variety of sales and marketing services and support to hotels, resorts, CVB/DMOs, and other hospitality industry businesses. In addition, this person will manage the accounts and maintain a strong relationships in the industry.
- Deploy and maintain a proactive solicitation and sales approach to achieve optimal results.
- Contacting potential customers to develop relationships and sales.
- Maintaining current client relationships and identifying potential clients.
- Ability to confidently make cold calls and other solicitation methods to build pipelines.
- Strategic account planning consisting of development of sales strategies and action plans.
- Closing new business.
- Communicating with clients and gathering information about a project’s scope, budgets and timelines.
- Account management and maintenance.
- Maintain and secure repeat business through client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Researching trends and creating new opportunities to increase sales.
- Collaborating with internal team to ensure client timelines and goals are met.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of services and innovating new ways to serve clients.
- Attend tradeshows and industry events.
- Participate in required company team activities including weekly conference calls and annual retreat.
- Actively participate in company initiatives.
Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in sales, preferably with a hotel or hospitality company.
- Having hotel or hospitality industry contacts a plus.
- High attention to detail.
- Advanced marketing and sales skills for finding, attracting, pitching to and acquiring new accounts.
- Strong customer service skills for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with old and new clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
- Experience using CRM to manage the sales process.
- Ability to set sales targets and the ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy.
- Familiarity with creative sales techniques.
- Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and a positive attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver proposals and presentations.
- Must be able to be a creative, out-of-the-box thinker.

Compensation
